The Residential Tenancies Board (RTB) have confirmed that Rosalind Carroll will step down from the role of Director in early March after four years in the role. Ms. Carroll will take on a new position at the Personal Injuries Assessment Board (PIAB). A process for recruitment of a new Director has commenced and interim arrangements will be put in place.

Commenting on the announcement, RTB Chairperson Tom Dunne said:

We would like to thank Rosalind for her hard work, dedication and the contribution she has made to the Residential Tenancies Board. She has led the RTB through a significant period of change and a number of major legislative reforms over the last four years.   We wish her continued success in the future”.

Rosalind Carroll, Director commented:

It has been a privilege to serve as Director of the RTB, one of the key state agencies working with landlords, tenants and other stakeholders, in what continues to be a challenging time in the housing and rental sector. We have achieved a lot in the last four years and have adapted as an organisation to ensure we can effectively deliver our services and support the sector.  The level of change implemented has only been possible through the commitment and dedication of our staff, Board, committee members, independent panel members, call agents and all our stakeholders and I want to thank everyone for their hard work and support.
