    Mediation

    Mediation is a free service offered to help landlords and tenants to resolve any tenancy related issues they may be having and to understand their rights and obligations within their tenancy. Mediation hearings are usually held through separate telephone calls and do not require parties to submit evidence.

    Adjudication

    Adjudication is a more formal service which involves landlords and tenants submitting evidence in a case.

    Appeals and tribunals

    Both parties to a dispute have a right to appeal to a Tenancy Tribunal if either is unhappy with the outcome of a mediation or adjudication agreement.
