How the RTB will communicate with you

This page provides information regarding notification settings on your RTB online account.

  • When you create your new RTB online account you provide contact details but your communication preferences are automatically set to digital. 

    Once your account has been verified, you can view contact details, communication preferences and settings from your online account homepage by clicking the profile icon on the top right of your screen and selecting “My Profile”.  

    Here you can change your correspondence address and choose a communication preference of digital or paper on your online account. If you need to change your email address you will need to contact the RTB contact centre.

  • When you create your new RTB online account you provide the company CRO number. Initial communication is through the registered address of the company. 

    Once your account has been verified you are able to change the correspondence address, should you wish to. To do this go to your online account homepage, click on the profile icon on the top right of your screen and choose ‘Edit Company Profile’ to make changes.  

    To change your communications preferences, go to your online account homepage, click on the profile icon on the top right of your screen and choose ‘My Profile’ to make changes.  

    If you need to change your email address you must contact the RTB via the contact centre.

  • Your AHB online account will be created for you by the RTB. If you have already provided your details in summer 2021 then your account will be set up for you from the day the new system goes live. If you have not provided your details previously you will need to email AHB@rtb.ie to request that your online account is created. You will be asked to provide some details to set up your account.  

    Once your account is set up you can view the account contact details and communication preference settings from your online account homepage by clicking the profile icon on the top right of your screen.  

    By selecting “My Profile” you can make changes to your communication preferences. By selecting “Edit AHB Profile” you can make changes to your correspondence address. 

    If you need to change your email address you must contact the RTB via the contact centre.

On all RTB Online Accounts;
  • Your RTB documents are available to view and download from your online account. 
  • The RTB will send you an email to notify you when any new documents are available to download. 
  • If you would prefer to receive these notifications by post, you can select the paper option under Communication Preferences in your profile. 
  • The RTB in certain circumstances, may be required to send some documents by post, even if you have selected a preference for digital communication.
