The Rent index is produced by the Residential Tenancies Board and the Economic and Social Research Institute, and provides rental indicators which are generated to track price developments in the Irish private rental market. A selection of these indicators are visualised through the RTB Research and Data Hub, with the trend information available to download.

Landlords are required to send a copy of all Notices of Termination (NoT) to the RTB on the same day the Notice is served on the tenant. The Notice of Termination will be deemed invalid if this requirement is not met.
